It becomes very crowded in the summer and so it is best to visit out of
season, but it is still worth a visit at any time. You can take the train from
Bergerac. It takes about 1 hour and you won't need to worry about parking
but it will cost about £18(GBP) return - although there is a special
tourist train that runs between 12 July and 28 August that has a special
rate of about £7(GBP) return per person.
